The 3DS story has been one fraught with ups and downs. But it seems to be catching up in hope to break from the shadow of its predecessor. Now let’s have a look at what 3DS would surprise us this year.
Nintendo seems to be focusing on making a handheld platform with games, but we can’t help wondering that whether Nintendo really hope to compete long-term with such popular, widely used competitors or not. Both the 3DS and the iPhone allow users to access a digital store and download games directly to their device. The differences between the devices are pretty simple: The 3DS has some great games that aren't on iOS. And, the 3DS has buttons designed for playing games.
Good news for Nintendo 3DS XL owners who have troubled by the controls for long: Nintendo is finally bringing the Nintendo 3DS XL’s clunky add-on to the US. Orders for the Circle Pad Pro XL in the US started to be taken for the first time this week.
There is another good piece of news for 3DS fans. Famitsu reports Hot Blooded Tough Guy Kunio: Fighting Concerto is in the works for 3DS which is scheduled for release on August 8.In addition to the above, there is still more to come. Smash Bros. is coming to 3DS, probably next year. Monster Hunter 4 is also on the way, and there’s bound to be a 3DS specific Zelda game in the works, too.
