China Information-related spending up 20%
China's information-related spending increased by 20 % to reach 1.38 billion dollars yuan ($225 billion) in the first five months of this season, according to the Secretary of state for Industry and Details Technological innovation.
Online dealings hit over 4 billion dollars yuan, up 46 % in contrast to same period last season. Set resource investment in information technology came to 82.7 billion dollars yuan, with feedback in the Internet and telecommunications facilities increasing by 63.5 %.
The ministry has determined family high speed internet access, shopping on the internet, mobile payment and the small press as major areas of growth in information intake.
But against the background of the value-added tax change, the benefit of the nation's three telecommunications providers decreased by 36.5 % and earnings for software and knowledge service companies were down by 20 %, the ministry said.
