Which season is the best for traveling in China?

In general, the best season to travel China is late spring and early fall around May, June, September, and October when the climate is nice and pleasant. However, you’d better avoid the period around May 1st and Oct 1st when is the long national holidays for Chinese, if you do not enjoy crowded.
